With an outstanding December 2014 proof run, ABS graduated 12 new bulls to join the influential ABS sire lineup.  Leading this class of graduates is 29HO16200 MESSIAH, a +2265 TPI® Freddie son that will turn heads.  MESSIAH will share the stage with 29HO14142 DORCY, who has proven himself once again by securing number 8 in the TPI® top 10.

Kenny Wells has joined ABS Global, Inc., as the beef genetic nucleus manager. In this newly created position, he will manage the genetic nucleus herd, and work with the ABS beef product development group and supply chain teams to deliver proprietary genetics in line with the company’s overall beef strategy. Prior to joining ABS, Wells managed the Jackson Agricultural Research Station for The Ohio State University.

  ABS Global, Inc., a world leader in bovine genetics, confirms the filing of legal proceedings against Inguran LLC (doing business as Sexing Technologies, or “ST”), alleging that ST has acquired and maintained a monopoly in processing sexed bovine semen through anti-competitive and exclusionary conduct, in breach of various U.S. state and federal competition statutes. These proceedings were filed on July 14 in the U.S.
